SZA’s set transform from sunset to midnight, as she preforms her last song of the night.

R&B sensation, Solána Imani Rowe, otherwise known as, SZA performed at the Kesaya Center the night of September 21st. The show was opened with “Romantic Homicide” singer, D4VD. He filled the arena with passion as he sang with his six year old baby sister.

The S.O.S. Tour was an ethereal experience for many. The show was a masterpiece from the sets to the lights, everything was coordinated perfectly. As the show progressed the set changed from being on a ship, to a shipwreck, to progressing deeper and deeper into the ocean.

“SZA was definitely the best artist I’ve seen in a really long time. Her set was so beautiful and I loved how everything correlated with the album including her outfits. Her voice was even better in person and I’m so glad I went,” Senior Andrea Wagner Said.

She sang hits from all of her albums ranging from “Love Galore” to “All The Stars”. Aside from regular background music, SZA sang the entire three hours. She never took a break or stopped. She held the same energy the whole time, jumping and dancing the entirety of the show.

The crowd sang her songs back to her the whole night, returning that same energy right back at her.

“Honestly, being able to witness how amazing SZA is was an all time high for me. She was just radiating good energy, and it just made you want to sing with her the whole night. If I could do it again I absolutely would, she was absolutely unbelievable,” Senior Andrea Laluz said.

At the end of the show SZA showed a beautiful amount of gratitude for her audience. After delivering “Good Days” as her encore, SZA returned to the stage to thank her audience for being the best crowd on her opening night.
