DISTRICT CHAMPS: After defeating Varela 9-0, the varsity soccer team rejoiced and celebrated their win as a team. On January 31st at the Tropical Park stadium, these girls brought home another trophy to add to the school’s soccer collection and made both their coaches and families incredibly proud.
WARMING UP: Senior and UNC commit Ashley Pennie warms up on the sidelines before getting on the field to play in the district finals on January 31st. In order to avoid injury and stay healthy, the girls always stretch and complete dynamic exercises to maintain mobility and get warmed up. “At the beginning of the season we learned new warm up exercises and we always do them before and during every game,” Pennie said.
